For those that have been following this blog or my Instagram, if it comes to coats, you know my go-to is g-lab. It’s just one of those brands I anxiously await to see what they have in mind for the season. Naturally, I was excited to see what g-lab had in store for spring!
As expected from g-lab, also the SS 2022 collection sees their eco-cotton and eco ripstop material in heavy use. Always good to have a clean conscious while looking stylish don’t you agree? Now let’s run you through some highlights from g-lab its SS 2022 collection
G-Lab SS 2022 review
Motion II
First up, and my personal favorite, is the Motion II, g-lab’s elevated rendition of the classic bomber jacket. I wore it here in Dark Navy but you can also get the Motion II in chalk or olive. I love how true g-lab stayed to the classic bomber lines and broke it down to the essentials. Big fan of how clean the jacket is!
That doesn’t mean they sacrificed functionality! Staying true to their supreme weather wear motto, the Motion II is made from weatherproof high-performance-fabric 'eco-cotton blend', making it ideal for trans-seasonal layering. This is further confirmed by the sealed seams and the large wind flap.

Quadro
If a bomber jacket isn’t your thing, you might want to take a closer look at the Quadro. The Quadro is a true classic parka style coat, where g-lab used the same magic formula as with the Motion II.
Bringing back the silhouette of the coat to the essentials line to craft a modern yet timeless coat.
The Quadro is crafted from a sustainable, 3-layer high-performance fabric that is fully weatherproof. The fabric is soft to the touch and made of recycled polyamide and sustainable, certified BCI cotton.
If you live in areas where the weather in spring can be unpredictable (did someone say Holland?) the Quadro is your coat! The large hood will keep you dry and protect you from the elements, and the magnetic side flap pockets and an inner pocket with a zipper will take care of your belongings.

LOFT
Part of g-lab’s 24/7series, the LOFT is a versatile jacket that can be worn both in and outside! Seen here in the stone color, the LOFT is made with superlight eco ripstop.
This fabric is made from recycled pre-consumer polyamides and has increased tear-resistant due to its special weaving. Next to the ripstop fabric, the PrimaLoft® padding makes it particularly comfortable to wear
I like that the LOFT has an Overshirt vibe to it, making it easy to blend into your everyday wear. Again, g-lab outdoes itself by using clean stitching to give the LOFT a subtle yet distinct look that elevates it from an ordinary jacket.

WING
Oh yes, a jacket to my heart, a bomber-style ripstop jacket! Also, part of g-lab’s 24/7 series, the WING is my favorite of g-lab’s ripstop jackets. Details like a padded collar, distinct pocket stitching, and the fact it’s a quilted bomber make this a standout model for me.
Like the LOFT, the WING is made from superlight eco ripstop and uses the same light PrimaLoft® padding. An additional benefit besides being light is that it has a small pack size, so it is easy to take with you on a getaway.
Worn in here in the color Dark Navy, you can also get the WING in the Stone color as seen with the LOFT. To add to the comfort of wearing, the sides of the WING feature a stretch insert, making it fit right while being comfortable.

And with the WING we wrap up my view on the SS 2022 collection of g-lab. Once again g-lab has proven that they make supreme weather wear! I can highly recommend dropping g-lab a visit to browse their online collection. They have multiple models that come with removable liners, ensuring you are covered all through the seasons.
